RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We want you to love every purchase from BuyBarber.com. Below is our clear policy on returns, exchanges, and refunds. This policy applies to orders shipped within the United States.
How to Start a Return (RMA Required)
- Request authorization (RMA): Contact Customer Service at 702-900-9972 or contact@buybarber.com within 30 days of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Wait for instructions: We’ll email your RMA number and the correct return address. (Please do not ship returns to the retail store or warehouse unless instructed.)
- Pack & ship: Place the item in its original retail packaging with all accessories, include your packing slip and RMA email, and ship via a trackable method within 14 days of RMA approval.
Returns sent without an RMA or to an unapproved address may be refused.
Return Eligibility
Change of Mind / Unopened Items
- Return unopened, unused items in the original packaging with all accessories within 30 days of delivery.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- If your item arrived damaged, defective, or we shipped the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a pre-paid return label or replacement options.
- Opened items are accepted only if they were received in a damaged/defective condition or we shipped the wrong item. Please return with the original packaging and all parts if available.
Hygiene & Personal-Care Items (Not Returnable if Used)
For health and sanitation, opened or used personal-care items cannot be returned, unless received damaged/defective. Examples include (but aren’t limited to):
- Hair clippers, trimmers, foil shavers, straight razors
- Replacement blades, guards, foils, combs and any items that contact hair/skin
- Ear/nose grooming tools, brushes, attachments that contact hair/skin
Final-Sale Items
- Gift Cards are non-returnable and redeemable for merchandise only.
- Straight Razor purchases are final sale.
- Wholesale orders are not eligible for returns or refunds unless products arrive damaged.
Replacement Parts – Final Sale & Installation Notice
- Replacement parts (including but not limited to blades, foils, cutters, guards, motors, PCBs/boards, batteries, cords, switches, housings, and other electrical/mechanical components) are FINAL SALE and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
- BuyBarber.com/The Barber Company is not responsible for any damage, malfunction, performance issues, or other results arising from self-installation or installation by third parties. Any service assurance from us applies only when the part is installed strictly by our technicians.
- We serve as an official service center for several leading brands, and parts are OEM where stated on the product listing. Manufacturer warranty terms (if any) apply per brand policy. This does not limit your rights regarding items that arrive damaged/defective; see our Defective/DOA section. (To the extent permitted by law.)
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- You pay return shipping for change-of-mind/unopened returns.
- We pay return shipping for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items (we’ll provide a label).
- If a package is returned to sender (refused/undeliverable) and you request a refund, we’ll refund the product price only; original shipping is non-refundable.
Exchanges
- Need the same item replaced due to damage/defect? We’ll exchange or replace after we receive and verify the return (or, in some cases, upon proof of damage).
Refunds (Method, Amount & Timing)
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Purchases made with a gift card will be refunded to a new gift card.
- Amount: We refund the product price actually paid (after discounts/coupons) plus any applicable sales tax.
- Original shipping is non-refundable unless we shipped the wrong item or the item arrived damaged/defective.
- We do not charge restocking fees.
- Timing: After we receive, inspect, and process your return, refunds typically post within 3–5 business days. Your card issuer may take one full billing cycle to show the credit.
Packaging Requirements
- Items must be returned in the original retail packaging with all included accessories, parts, and manuals.
- Damaged/defective items returned without original packaging may be denied or subject to a partial refund depending on condition.
Proof of Purchase
- Returns must be for items purchased directly from www.buybarber.com. Please include your order number or a copy of the packing slip.
